Bei uns entdeckst du originale Film- und Fotokostüme sowie Kleidungsstücke aus realen Produktionen. Viele davon stammen aus zeitgenössischen Projekten und sind moderne Kleidung, die sich problemlos im Alltag tragen lässt. Darüber hinaus umfasst unser Sortiment auch historische Kostüme und außergewöhnliche Einzelstücke.

Für Branchenangehörige steht außerdem Arbeitsmaterial der Kostüm- und Stylingabteilung zur Verfügung.

Who the platform is for

The After Scene richtet sich an Filmschaffende, Modefans, Sammler und kreative Köpfe, die Originalstücke mit Geschichte schätzen. Als Onlineshop-Plattform bietet The After Scene der Branche die Möglichkeit, Produktionsmaterialien nach dem Dreh ein neues Zuhause zu geben.

We bring objects that often remain unused after filming/production back into circulation—sustainably, visibly, and with appreciation for their history.

Selling on the platform

Als Verkäufer (z. B. Kostümbildner, Stylisten, Produktions-Studios oder Film-/Werbeschaffende) kannst du deine Stücke selbst hochladen, beschreiben und mit Preis hinterlegen.

Community online and offline

Diese Plattform wurde gebaut um die Gemeinschaft zwischen alle Beteiligten im Bereich, Design, Mode, Handwerk und Kostüm zu stärken und ein nachhaltigeres Arbeiten zu unterstützen.

Green Program

Film- und Fotoproduktionen können uns ihre Fundus-Bestände direkt übergeben. Wir kuratieren und digitalisieren sie und vermitteln sie weiter, damit sie nicht ungenutzt lagern. Zudem möchten wir kleineren Produktionen so Zugang zu Material ermöglichen.

Get verified

Register on The After Scene and upload the necessary documentation (e.g., business/self-employment information or industry affiliation) so that we can confirm that you are part of the creative industry.
Once your account has been successfully verified, your seller account will be activated.

Create your account

After verification, you can log in as usual.
In your personal dashboard, you will find the "Upload items" section and an overview of all your offers, sales, and rentals.

Create item (purchase or rental)

Create a new product offer:

• Upload photos (at least 3–5 images)
• Fill in title and description
• Select category, size, color, condition
• Specify sale price OR rental price
• Optional: Project assignment + internal item number (for your own organization)

You decide whether an item can be purchased or rented.

Set shipping and return details

In the last step, you specify:

Return or non-return policies
(Note: As a private seller, you can generally exclude returns; as a commercial seller, legal requirements apply.)

Shipping method (parcel, pickup), shipping costs, processing time, return or non-return rules (Note: As a private seller, you can generally exclude returns; as a commercial seller, legal requirements apply.)

Receive order & create invoice

As soon as a customer buys or rents:

• Will you receive immediate notification?
• You pack the product and ship it.
• Since The After Scene only acts as a platform, you issue the invoice to the buyer yourself
  (with or without VAT, depending on your status).

You can track every order and manage your sales in the dashboard.
